Hiring: Barista/Front of House
We are looking for a Bartistas and Front of House for our cafes to prepare and serve high quality beverages and also provide memorable experiences for our customers.
Location(s): Makati, San Juan, BGC, Ortigas
Salary: PHP 16,860 per month
Responsibilities:
- Welcomes and connects with every customer.
- Creates opportunities for customer to interact with the product.
- Responds to customer needs and says thank you to every customer.
- Assume responsibility for all aspects of the coffee bar including inventory management, coffee program, coffee quality, workflow efficiency, and cost management.
- Prepare and serve great espresso and coffee drinks and be the coffee expert in our cages
- Display and possess excellent knowledge of coffees, their origins, their flavor notes, and the various brewing methods, preparation, and presentation
- Be able to engage with our customers and team members about our in-store coffee offerings
- Be the ideal example to peers and proactively train our novice or newly hired baristas
- Perform routine cleaning on the espresso machines consistently and around work areas
- Actively work towards creating a superior cafe experience through excellent customer service, quality beverage preparation and presentation, in-store marketing, and the upkeep and maintenance of coffee areas
- Politely answer customer inquiries on products and services
- Show respect to customer, superior and peers in words and in action
- Report issues on equipment or other factors affecting customer overall experience
- Works closely with the store management team to help achieve sales and profitability targets of the store
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude and respond with necessary proactive actions
- Pro-actively coordinates with Cafe Supervisor / Manager with regards to store related issue
- Maintain and be a good example on all Company and café policies
- Keep safe and clean working environment at all times
- Works as a team with other team members and help promotes camaraderie in the workplace
- Strictly complies with all company policies, procedures, employee code of conduct, safety, health & environment programs, quality management system, etc.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned to him/her by the Cafe Supervisor.
Ideal Candidates:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Undergraduate or Graduate of any 4-year course
- Preferably with 1 year experience in a similar capacity
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proactive and create a positive experience for everyone
